Day 21 VLCD (-14.6)

(-1.4) I have been a very bad blogger! I've been been so busy that ive even forgotten to eat all my food a couple time. Last weekend I had a stall and I think it's because of the antibiotics I was taking. Weight loss has been pretty slow but I'm almost down 15 lbs and have 3 days to go. Bring on the cheese! I really wanted to be at 150 at the end of this phase. Maybe I can still reach it by the end of phase 3. My body has been hurting. I recall feeling a similar way in previous rounds near the end. I think I need vitamins.

Day 13 VLCD (-11.8)

(-0.6) HELLO150'S!!!!

The weight loss is going slow and I'm not sure why...but I'm going to hang in there...maybe it got into the really stubborn fat. :(  I could really use a BIG LOSS day.

(-0.8 Yesterday) Didn't post yesterday.

Averaging 0.9 lbs per day.  In my first round, I was down 13.2 lbs by this day...so it is going a little slower this time...but it's only about 1 lbs off so I'm sure I'm not doing anything wrong.  No lotion, no liquid makeup, only stevia, nothing to drink but water, tea and coffee.  Following the protocol exactly.  I'm going to try to up the water intake today.  I get so busy, I forget to drink....need not do that.

Day 10 VLCD (-9.6)

(+.4) STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!  If I had an extra leg hanging around I would kick myself.

I weighed myself this morning and thought WTH?  This was a very non productive weekend and I didn't cheat, why is this happening?  Then I figured it out and I'm just so mad at myself.  Two days ago when I had no loss I thought it was because I didn't trim my steak well.  Then the next day I had chicken and lost.  Then today a gain and I remember I had the other piece of that same steak and it hit me.  BAM!  Right in the noggin.

Instead of my usual salt and pepper and garlic seasoning, I put a steak seasoning on it...making sure it had no sugar in it, but I failed to notice ingredient #2....monosodium glutamate.  Son of a bisquit eating bulldog...NO MSG!!!!!

I even skipped a fruit last night and that didn't help.  Ugh...how could I overlook that...HOW?

No Monosodium Glutamate (MSG). MSG is a flavor enhancer and preservative. It is called an excitotoxin. It adversely affects the hypothalamus, as well as being chemically addicting. It will make you fat and leads to depression. Read the labels.

Day 9 VLCD (-10.0)

(-0.6)  This is my 10 lb mark...was hoping to be a little farther, but I'm happy with this too. I get really bored on the weekends and between that and my husband whining because he can't have any carbs..its not making this any easier.  He lost 4 lbs last week, but yet feels the need to complain about it to me...who is also not eating carbs like I'm going to feel sorry for him.  I told him to go to the gym.  Leave me along, you arent being very supportive.  If he starts in again today, I'm going to shove a hamburger bun down his throat...LOL

Looking forward to seeing the 150's again and then hopefully seeing them go in the next 14 days.  Maybe if I get close, I can pull off a few extra lbs in P3 as well.  That would be nice.

So yesterday.....

BOO.  No loss so I didn't post anything.  I think I didn't trim the fat off my steak as well as I should have.  I can't think of anything else...except for TOM of course that would leave me hanging like this.

Day 6 VLCD (-8.6)

(-1.2) I can't beleive it because I am so puffy and sick from TOM.  Last night I spent the whole night at the car dealership so my second meal consisted of some chicken and then I went to bed.  Didn't have my fruit or veggies or breadstick.

Gotta go get busy and find the title to my car so I can take it to the dealership...no idea where it is.

Day 5 VLCD (-7.4)

(-1.8) I have consistently lost 1.8 lbs a day so far...very nice.  AND TOM IS HERE.  I was so sick yesterday I almost went home from work.  Headache, bad stomach cramps...I thought I was getting the stomach virus AGAIN.  So anyway, since I usually gain 3 lbs every time hes here, this is really nice.

Day 4 VLCD (-5.6)

(-1.6) Another 1.6 lbs.  This is really good.  I am sticking to the diet exactly and I am drinking my 8 full glasses of water every day in addition to my coffee and tea.  I will keep that up because it appears to help and I know I didn't do that the first couple rounds.  For some reason I have to gag down water unless it is ice cold.  Luckily we have a Reverse Osmosis Water Filter at work that makes it nice and icy or nice and hot.  And it taste alot better too.

Going to do some measurements just for fun and then go get ready for work.  I'm getting that weird play dough look around my abdomen where I can tell the fat is burning off.

Loss of 10.5 inches...that is soooo cool.  Biggest loss was a tie of  1.5 inches (waist/hips/shoulders)

New Years Day

I've kept myself pretty busy today.  Buying lots of food for my diet and then coming home and weighing out my portions. 

Breakfast - Coffee
16 oz water
Lunch - 100g Hamburger with Mustard, Tomato
16 oz water
Snack - baked apples with Stevia and Cinnamon
(actually, I haven't eaten this yet, it's still just on my to do list)
Dinner - I think we are going to go with a chicken & lettuce salad with some sort of concoction of applecider vinegar and spices for a dressing.  Can't remember how I used to make it, but I'll figure it out.

Didn't forget how to make those baked apples though...LOL
Maybe a strawberry smoothing for evening snack while I watch a movie.
Trying really hard to drink my water.

Got the hubby on a low carb diet and got a bunch of food prepared for him too that he can just grab and eat...cooked chicken, chicken chili, lean hamburgers and cheese mostly, salad, low carb dressing, fruit.

Made him throw out bread and cookies...none of that is needed in this house.

Waiting for my coffee to brew and working on my grocery list.  I sure don't want to go outside...18 degrees?  Are you kidding me....freakin' burr!!!!

I think I'll put on my long johns...that ought to do the trick!

Still nauseous from I don't know what...maybe its a stomach bug that just hasn't grabbed on completely.  Pretty much everyone I know has had it and I've just been hanging here in limbo for about 4 days waiting for it to get me.  Made it through New Years Eve...didn't go overboard on the loading this time...just seemed pointless to me.  I did eat ALOT of carbs, just not so much sweets as I did last time.

I'm thinking I might try to come up with a relatively simple workout plan over the next few weeks...to burn some extra calories and firm up the old six pack..bahahahaha..do I have one of those?  Never seen it.  Last 2 rounds I never lost so much as a 1/4 inch off my arms, so maybe some arm exercises would be good too.
