R1 :: P3 :: DAY 11 :: 158.8 (-12.2)

(-18.2) Wanna thank Diana for telling TOM he can come to my house this weekend. Oh Goodie! Hope she enjoys herself! UGH!

Yea, I didn't post yesterday, it was 158.2 again, but today I went up, again, thanks to the stress of knowing that jerk is coming. I'm sticking to the plan and steering clear of sugars and most carbs.

I guess I have 10 more days of P3...we are having a company christmas thing at Patty's on Thursday, that will be day....let me calculate....day 18, so I will still have to be cautious of what cocktails and snacks I consume. Going to have to find out what is a low carb, low sugar drink that I can have cuz I would definately like to consume some alcohol if I can.

I'd like to find out for future reference too. On the rare ocassions{sp?~that doesn't look right} that we go out dancing.

Any distilled alcohol is carb free

***HOWEVER***

The body burns alcohol preferentially as fuel. That means that if you were to consume 20g of alcohol, 20 g of carbs, 20g of protein, and 20g of fat...your body would burn the alcohol calories first, THEN the carbs...guess what gets stored!?!?!?!?

So what if you have a couple of drinks and then dance you azz off (I wish literally). Do you burn it off quicker? When I drink, I's likes to dance LOL

I won't be doing any dancing...but when I drink, I talk a lot. Maybe some jaw action will burn that fuel off...LOL
